Why the name ‘the Station’?
Because “Umbrella Corporation” was taken. And “Tiny Turnip” sounded too much like a goblin’s penis.

Why did you break up with Tarsier Studios?
As Station Master Mattias Nygren decided to leave the role as CEO of Tarsier Studios, he and the board and founders agreed that the two respective offices (Malmö & Karlshamn) would have the greatest potential to evolve if they could continue their journey in the industry as two independent entities.
For more information, see excerpt from the press release here.

Do you hate each other now?
Ehh…no, why? The greater part of us have been working together for a long time as friends and co-workers and even though the co-worker part has changed, the friends part hasn’t.

Do you throw stuff at each other when you meet?
What? No!

Who owns the City of Metronome?
The City of Metronome, described by members of the press as one of the most interesting games never made, remains unmade with Tarsier Studios.

That said, we don’t exclude the possibility of us ever working on a title containing either of the following;
a) strange characters
b) an interesting/unique world
c) a boy
d) music or sound

…but it won’t be the City of Metronome

Are we ever going to see the City of Metronome become a full game?
God I hope so, but it’s a question for Tarsier Studios.

So what are you going to do?
Lots! There a lot of ideas within the studio and we don’t exclude the possibility of taking on development of projects based on external IPs either.
Obviously the size of the studio is a factor so, we won’t be making GTA VI any time soon.

Did you make LittleBigPlanet?
No, the first game and thus the franchise was conceived by Media Molecule, backed by SCEE. Some of us in the staff have however been involved in assisting with content since before even the first game was released.

Tarsier Studios, where most of us were previously employed, had the entire creative responsibility for LittleBigPlanet™ PS®Vita so some of us would at least go as far as claiming that ‘We made that’.

Are you Indie?
Yes. Or…what is Indie? We are privately owned, convinced that we can conjure up some really original stuff, our salaries are modest and we enjoy curry just as much as the next guy?

The Comic, are the characters based on you guys?
Yes, some of them. But, the opinions expressed by a cartoon character does not always reflect the opinions of its real life resemblance

Has everything depicted in the comic actually happened?
Mjae… let’s just say that much is, like they say in movies, ‘based on a true story’…
